Eduards Johansons

Born: July 30, 1991

Born in Valmiera. Spent his childhood in Rencēni and Dunte. Graduated from the Ādaži Free Waldorf School (2010) and the Latvian Academy of Culture as a dramatic theatre actor (2015).

Eduards grew up in a theatrical atmosphere. He is the youngest of three sons of the Valmiera Theatre actor Januss Johansons. From the age of 8 until now, Eduards has participated in scout camps, which have taught him to look at life practically and clearly. You only have a backpack and the road, Eduards says about his passion – hitchhiking and cycling.

His course director Anna Eižvertiņa writes: “Already during the study process, Eduards was able to handle serious and dramatic, even tragic roles, as well as roles in comedies, proving his acting talent. He showed himself as an actor-creator, as he actively participated in forming the interpretation of the role.”
