Elizabete Milta

Elizabete Milta comes from Ķekava. In 2021, she graduated from the Riga Cathedral Choir School with a specialisation in Musical Theatre Singing. In 2025, she graduated from the dramatic theatre acting course led by director Elmārs Seņkovs. Since 2025, she has been an actress at Valmiera Theatre.
“First and foremost, Elizabete is a pleasantly intelligent and thoughtful actress. She knows very well what she wants. She has her own opinions, but she never imposes them or tries to convince others. She has a strong inner foundation and a wide range—Elizabete can portray both young girls and serious, mature women. She is a person who knows how to unite intellect with emotion. In the true sense of the word, she is a high-level professional. I already had this feeling in her fourth year of studies. She is easy to work with. Elizabete does not try to pretend to be someone else. She has a special ability to make people want to watch her. An actress who captivates not only through her physical expressiveness but also through her exceptionally beautiful voice. She is like still water—but very deep,” says Elmārs Seņkovs, head of the dramatic theatre acting course at the Latvian Academy of Culture, describing the actress.
She has made a striking impression in diploma performances such as Crystal Children, Dreamers, The Unknown Mary, The Martyr, The Disciple, Santa Cruz, The White Dress, and others. She has also performed in the productions The Wardrobe Attendants at the Latvian National Theatre (2024) and The Workshop of Lost Scenes at Dirty Deal Teatro (2023). She has participated in various musicals, including Molly Dolly (2017), Kaupēn, My Beloved (2020), the dance performance Dance Turbulence (2019), and the children’s production The Puppet Master’s Dreams (2020). She has taken part in various student works and projects with her fellow performers.
For her role as Maria Shamrayeva in the diploma production The Unknown Mary, she received the award for Best Young Stage Artist of the Year during the 2024/2025 season.
Elizabete participates in various musical projects and, since 2018, has been the vocalist of the alternative music group Stūrī Zēvele. She plays keyboards, the kokle (a traditional Latvian string instrument), and accordion.
