Nowadays. A couple, almost thirty years old. She is a children’s book writer, he is a model. Poisonous silence, where every most innocent word is explosive. The plot of Arturs Dicis’ play is about the toxic relationship of Aaron (28) and Courtney (28) at the moment when they have already divorced, but still spend time together. The plot unfolds in one day – a trip by car and a hike in the woods. The tone of the play balances between irony, sharp dialogue and deep tragicomedy – it shows how two people who once loved each other become mutual “ego maniacs” who fight more for their pride than for a true reconciliation. Also asking the question why a large part of young people do not want to form families and have offspring.

Director Reinis Suhanovs: “The play will be a drama of relationships, created as a chamber play and based on the mutual interaction of two actors, creating a collision of brutalism and poetic beauty. Together with the actors, we will try to feel how to talk to the generation living in the twenties of the 21st century”.
